Effective Role Models

Staff and children know each other really well and children and parents/carers feel at ease to communicate with people they trust within our caring, happy and warm environment. Our staff pride themselves on their strong relationships with each other, which encourages children to develop their own positive relationships.

Staff are effectively deployed and work well together as a team displaying friendly interactions with children and each other”. Ofsted, 2011

Listening to Children & Respecting Their Ideas

Our staff member are always patient and have time to listen. They are always positive and calm when communicating with children and have exceptional questioning skills which encourages children to extend their learning. Staff captures what children say and do during their self chosen initiated play. They listen to the exact words that children use to describe their ideas and thoughts and encourage and support children to extend their thinking and language skills. Parents really appreciate our staff’s excellent knowledge of their children and the effort to which their child’s learning and experiences are recorded in their individual Home Link Learning Journey file.

Going That Extra Mile…

We devote a large amount of time to providing the best possible care for children with additional needs. Special relationships are developed between staff and parents and strong partnerships between our setting and outside agencies.
